From M1 J28, take the B6019 towards Alfreton. Take the first left after about 100 yards. This road will take you down into Pinxton village (about half a mile). You will arrive at a set of traffic lights at the side of a public house. Either continue straight on through the lights and take the right turn on the next crossroads onto Wharf Road, or take a right at the lights onto Victoria Road and turn right at the bottom onto Wharf Road.

By public transport, the nearest train station is Alfreton, from which bus service 9.3 runs about every half hour and takes around 10 minutes to reach Pinxton. The 9.3 service also runs in the opposite direction from Mansfield bus station.
