The large quarantine room at Wharf Marine plays a very important part, as all imported fish are quarantined for two weeks prior to going on sale.

This takes place in four separate systems, and two additional nine-foot quarantine tanks house the larger species. Live rock is very important in any reef system and we have four large curing vats for our weekly deliveries of live rock.

A seven hundred and fifty gallon per day R/O unit takes care of Wharf Marines and customers' needs (no tap water is used onsite).

The filtration for the shop is also housed in the quarantine room: two very large sumps, four trickle towers, four six-foot protein skimmers and twenty 55w UV sterilizers make up this system.
