Wharf Aquatics

After wanting to keep fish all my life my partner brought me a tank for my birthday, not knowing the first thing about fish or how to keep them I was advised by a friend to visit Wharf Aquatics and I'm so glad I did. They have everything you could ever need and if they haven't got it they will do their best to get it, all the guys there are so friendly and approachable and the knowledge they have in my mind is second to none, even when they are really busy I've never felt rushed and will help answer any questions whether I'm buying or just after advice it's always the same service. All in all I can't recommend these guys enough, only bad side is they have created a monster 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣 after around 10 months I've gone from having 1 56lt tropical tank to having two tanks and the second one being 260lt and loving the hobby, no doubt I will be visiting again very soon to see what other goodies I can get 😁👍🏻

Oh my what an amazing fish shop!! My other half and I took a random trip up the A38 from Burton. Best fish shop I've ever been in. Parking is a slight issue but there's side roads to park. Amazing choice of wood for tanks. Separate show room each for cold-water, tropical and marine. Even a separate tank show room. So many beautiful fish. Beautiful koi on show. Even things like barbel and sturgeon and bream for sale. I have never seen so many tanks together. Tropical section is very impressive. From shrimps to arrowana. Some impressive plecos on sale. Wanted to come home with everything! But resisted and just bought some plants. A good selection of plants. Shelves are fully stocked. Loads of friendly staff and it was very busy when we came. Who needs to go to the sealife centre when you can come here? Even more to view than sealife! Only a 30 min drive from us, so we will definitely go back when we want some new fish. Tanks were all very well maintained. Wood and plants in most stock tanks. Fantastic collection of corals even have hermit crabs and starfish in the marine section.

I have to say thank you to the staff that helped after unexpectedly getting a fish tank after my grandfather passed and never owning or even considered owning fish I was left with a biorb tank with 1 fish wanting to carry on my grandads love for his fish tank I went it and they couldn't of done more to help showing me everything I need to get it back up and running and even writing everything down from care to cleaning to feeding water testing and what fish would go well with the one Surviving fish after 2 weeks the tank is up and running and filled with some beautiful colourful fish theybhave gained a life long customer after all there help

Lots of unusual fish loads choose from and a very knowledgeable gentleman, certainly knew his fish and my son in law loved talking about fishing with him .Very friendly.
