Aquarium Plants at Wharf Aquatics

At Wharf Aquatics we have weekly deliveries of fresh aquatic plants for your aquarium. We have a huge double-sided multi-bay tank with two separate sump filters to house a wide variety of aquarium plants.

One side houses good quality bunched aquarium plants, which are excellent value and include many common aquarium varieties such as Vallisneria, Egeria, Cabomba, Java Fern, Amazon Swords, Water Wisteria, Ludwigia, etc.

The other side houses high quality Tropica potted aquarium plants. This includes a range of aquarium plants, from hardier and more common varieties to more demanding plants for the planted tank enthusiast.

We also stock Tropica 1-2-Grow! plants. These are very young plants cultivated and delivered directly from Tropica's laboratory. They are guaranteed to be free from snails, algae and pesticides and therefore totally harmless for sensitive shrimp and fish. The range also offers unique plants not available in other formats.

Typical stock includes Anubias, Cryptocoryne, Echinodorus, Eleocharis, Glossostigma, Hemianthus, Hydrocotyle, Hygrophila, Lilaeopsis, Limnophila, Ludwigia, Nesaea, Pogostemon, Rotala, Sagittaria, and more. In addition we stock a range of aquatic mosses (e.g. Vesicularia and Taxiphyllum) and XL plants. We can also obtain most plants to order.

In addition, we stock aquarium plants grown onto wood and other specials. The plants on wood typically include different varieties of Anubias, Java Fern and Java Moss - ideal for aquariums with lower light levels or where fish that dig in the substrate are being kept.

We also stock a wide range of equipment for setting up and maintaining planted aquariums, whatever your level of experience. This includes liquid and root fertilisers, planted tank substrates, aquascaping tools, CO2 equipment and accessories.
